Founded just outside of the city of Louisville, KY in the heart of Oldham county, we specialize in making Kentucky's legendary black walnut, black cherry, maple or other hardwood species that are native to this region accessible to carpenters, woodworkers, furniture makers and craftsmen alike. In the spirit of sustainability, we source locally grown trees that would otherwise be destined for a landfill and give them a second life by milling them to display the gorgeous natural wood grain. In addition to live edge slabs and hardwood lumber, we also offer premium bundled firewood and a selection of flavorful smoking woods such as cherry, hickory, oak and maple.

At Kidogo we focus on three distinct areas of wood processing. All of our wood products, from beautiful live edge wood slabs and hardwood lumber, wood turning blanks, live edge shelf, rustic fireplace mantels options, to premium firewood and smoking wood are all sourced locally and sustainably. We source trees that have come down naturally, due to a storm or other factors that require it to be taken down. What this means to the end user of our products is that you are giving trees that were destined to be destroyed or put in a landfill, a second life to become something useful. Wow, just wow! These beautiful, highly figured maple slabs are fresh off the sawmill and ready for purchase if you are interested in green slabs to dry yourself. In this lot there are nine live edge slabs sized from 5/4 and 8/4 thick. The width of these slabs range from 12" to 20" wide. These slabs are right at 5' long and would make wonderful large live edge table tops or excellent hardwood lumber for any project you may have. There are also shorter slabs from the same log that would be great for matching end table tops to complete a set!
