This page is new and currently under construction and will be updated as fast as possible, so please check back soon. We are running the kiln as often as we can so more kiln dried live edge slabs will be available every week. Even if you do not see a slab you are interested in on this page, just reach out and ask us about your needs we may have it and just haven't updated the page yet. All slabs here have been air dried to preserve the beauty of the natural wood grain, and to minimize any warping or cracks. From there is goes through a kiln drying process which further brings down the moisture content and finishes off with a heat treating cycle.
How Purchasing A Kiln Dried Slab Works
Kiln dried inventory is purchased a little differently than air dried slabs. We go to great links to photograph, list approximate dimensions, and concisely describe each slab below so you can choose what you works best for you. While we can set up an appointment for you to view our bulk inventory of air dried slabs in person, it is not feasible with our kiln dried inventory. If you would like to purchase any of the kiln dried slabs that you see below or have any questions please contact us by sending us a message or email with the slab name. We will then pull any and all slabs you are interested in out of our kiln dried storage and set up a time for you to view them with absolutely no obligation to purchase any of them. If you are not local to the Louisville, KY area, we can even discuss shipping if needed.
